Religion in the United States

Religion in the United States is very diverse; Christian, Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, and many other denominations of the Christian faith. Also,  Judaism and Muslim.  According to this website http://www.pewforum.org/religious-landscape-study/, 70 percent of America is Christian, 1.9 of America are Jewish,  0.9 of America is Muslim.
In America, we celebrate a lot of holidays regarding religion. For example, Christmas is the celebration of a savior in the Christian teaching, for this holiday, people place trees in their home and decorate the tree with ornament and on the morning of  December 25th, family members exchange gifts to one another. Christmas if the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Another example,  A holiday in Judaism faith is called Yom Kippur, this is the holiest day of the year for Judaism. The name "Yom Kippur" means "Day of Atonement," and that pretty much explains what the holiday is. It is a day for people who believe in the Jewish Faith to reflect upon their last year.  To ponder whether they were a good person or not. my last example, represents the Muslim faith. Muslims have a holiday called Ramadan. Each year, Muslims spend a month in daytime fasting, during the 9th month of the Islamic calendar called Ramadan.
