Recreation/Entertainment

One aspect of our culture that I believe to be important in helping others gain an understanding of the culture in my country is the recreation and entertainment.  Constantly, bands are traveling all over the United States playing at concerts all over seating tons of people.  People are visiting on vacations when ever they have the chances.  Tons of people are traveling to the amusement park Cedar Point to experience thrills.  Millions are tuning their radios to hear the next sports updates and scores.  This is just the average days in the United States of America.  In America, every weekend TV's are tuned to watch the latest sports games, for example the Michigan vs. Michigan State game (college football).  Whenever we have a chance to enjoy some entertainment, we want it all the time.
I believe that in America, we are always trying to have as much fun as possible going to theme parks, haunted attractions, etc. and being able to just relax.  For example, whenever there is a home football game for varsity, you can find a majority of your school friends there to socialize with and enjoy the game.  In addition, with all of this entertainment, it can be very costly which ends up limiting the amount of recreation and entertainment an average family can have.  Therefore, some families have more money, so they can experience more costly entertainment.  To conclude, American's love to experience entertainment when they have free time to enjoy life, it's just the funds they have available depends on how much they can go to.
